Bettina Rheims is a French artist and photographer. At the age of 26 she began to photograph. Before that she was a model, a journalist and opened an art gallery. Her first series of photographs are with stip-tease artists and acrobats.
Between 1990 and 1992 her series "Chamre Close" was realized in collaboration with Serge Bramly. These series had an immense success not only in Europe but all over the world. The Book is a collection of photographs of nude women in several postures and became a bestseller.
The following years Rheims became more and more famous. Now she takes photos for various fashion magazines, of stars and starlets...
The "Book of Olga" was realized in 2008 on behalf of the Russian millionaire Sergey Rodionov. He wanted to see his wife Olga Rodionova (The "protagonist" of the book) in sexy poses...
I like the photos of her - they are wonderful lascivious and in spite of that also very glamourous.
By the way Olga is one of my favourite names. I would name my daughter Olga :3
